Biography

Barrie Cutchie is a renowned bathroom industry professional with decades of expertise across manufacturing, design, and product development. In the late 1970s, he founded the prestigious company BC Sanitan, establishing an early reputation for quality and innovation that would define his career.

He later started Imperial Bathrooms in 1988, one of the leading bath brands in the UK, before going on to form BC Designs — where his vision for design-led, high-quality bathroom solutions continued to shape the industry. Barrie is recognised for his strong technical knowledge, collaborative working style, and long-standing commitment to delivering exceptional bathroom products for both residential and commercial environments.

Now taking a leading role in the development of the Vincent Alexander bath range, Barrie brings another beautifully crafted and design-led collection to the market — this time, under his own name, with complete creative freedom.
